A Shade of Vampire BELLA FORREST

Bella is officially one of my newest most favorite author in the history of authors.

Goodreads Review: On the evening of Sofia Claremont's seventeenth birthday, she is sucked into a nightmare from which she cannot wake.

A quiet evening walk along a beach brings her face to face with a dangerous pale creature that craves much more than her blood.

She is kidnapped to an island where the sun is eternally forbidden to shine.
An island uncharted by any map and ruled by the most powerful vampire coven on the planet. She wakes here as a slave, a captive in chains.

Sofia's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn when she is the one selected out of hundreds of girls to join the harem of Derek Novak, the dark royal Prince.

Despite his addiction to power and obsessive thirst for her blood, Sofia soon realizes that the safest place on the island is within his quarters, and she must do all within her power to win him over if she is to survive even one more night.

Will she succeed? ...or is she destined to the same fate that all other girls have met at the hands of the Novaks?

My Stars: 4.5

My Review: Okay so here is my awesome review! My review is awesome because this book was awesome. I loved the main character Sofia, she was strong willed. Oh and I saw one review that said it reminded someone of Twilight? Anything that has to do with piano's and vampires remind me of Twilight but this did not. This was completely unique. Sophia was nothing like Bella (No offense on Isabella.)
Her story didn't leave out anything. I wasn't finding myself groping for missing info. I felt like screaming at the book for Derek to listen to his heart! Ohhhhhh....that girl was....rape....love. Gawd! It was just so much drama. And unlike some books it had enough Paranormal(ty) and Romance! Some books just focus on the Romance and forget that you had magical beings in the book. (That is not cool).
You guys are probably looking at my review and going if it was so great...why the 4.5, well I just wish the book was a bit longer. It had so much drama and stuff in it. But she left it where it was and that makes me want to read the second book..which I will when I can afford too :) !
