Intertwined Gena Showalter

Intertwined (Intertwined, #1)

Goodreads:
There’s something about the new guy at Crossroads High…

Most sixteen-year-olds have friends. Aden Stone has four human souls living inside him:

One can time travel.
One can raise the dead.
One can possess another human.
One can tell the future.

Everyone thinks he’s crazy, which is why he’s spent his entire life shuffled between mental institutions and juvie. All of that is about to change, however. For months Aden has been having visions of a beautiful girl—a girl who carries centuries-old secrets. A girl who will either save him or destroy him.

Together they’ll enter a dark world of intrigue and danger... but not everyone will come out alive
.
My Rate: 4 1/2
My Review: I loved this book a lot! There were so many great things about it... the only reason I gave it a four in a half was because I didn't want the book to have ended like that. I didn't want Vlad to die...I love Vlad the Impaler and I love reading stories that involve him. I loved Mary Ann and all her innocence, she was so adorable. Riley is awesomely hot. I couldn't stop picturing him in my head and thinking about him an me on a honey moon. Though he is after all Mary Ann's so i'll keep my paws off. Victoria...I don't know why I just didn't like her that much. But maybe that's because I was under Eve's influence. Oh! I was so sad when Eve left..I wanted Caleb to see whom the witch was. Buut after all this is a series and I will get to see once I read the other books. Ohm! I love Aden...although he was a tad bit too protective, but most males are in books at least. This book was extremely awesome and I can't wait to read the others.

TEXT BLOG TOUR

Text by Cambria Hebert ebooksm (1)
Does anyone else think that this cover is entirely too sexy!!! Eeeep! (Fangirl scream!)
Text Blog Tour Banner   add-to-goodreads-button31

SYNOPSIS

One text can change everything.
Honor Calhoun never thought her life would ever be like the books she writes for a living. One morning while out for a run, she learns not all bad things are plots in novels. Some horrors can actually come true.
She faces off with a persistent attacker, holds her own, but in the end is taken hostage and thrown into a hole. In the middle of the woods.
But Honor didn’t go down there alone.
She took her kidnapper’s phone with her. With a spotty signal and a dying battery, her hope is slim.
Nathan Reed is an active duty Marine stationed at a small reserve base in Pennsylvania. All he wants is a calm and uneventful duty station where he can forget the memories of his time in a war-torn country.
But a single text changes everything.
Nathan becomes Honor’s only hope for survival, and he has to go against the clock, push aside his past, and take on a mission for a girl he’s never met.
Both of them want freedom… but they have to survive long enough to obtain it.

My Stars:

My Review:
I loved this book soo much! I was so happy when I got an advanced copy I was jumping out of my socks, it's an expression. Anyway it didn't disappoint. Usually I don't read stories where someone gets kidnapped and then falls in love because it's scary. It can literally happen to anyone..at any time. You never know.  Which is why I will now never leave the house alone.  Ever. Nathan was so sexy and muscular it was mouthwatering. But don't get your hopes up because there aren't many Nathans around as unfortunate as that sounds and is.
I really just want to write a letter to Cambria about how her writing is fantastic and how she's inspired me to start writing a little. Buut that's what the internet is for and I can just write her an email without having to go to 7 Eleven for a stamp.
The only think I disliked about the book was...Honor. I don't know what it was about her and I understand you develop feelings for your savior but...it happened a bit to quick. Though I don't believe in love at first sight so who knows.

Nathan flashed a grin in the darkness. I longed to see him in the light. I wanted to know the angles and planes of his face. I wanted to take in his features and truly see the man who had literally saved my life.

Nathan seemed oblivious to my thoughts as I watched him tidy up the first aid kit. Before he put it on the floor, he glanced at me. “Where else are you hurt?”

“I won’t be requiring any more Band-Aids,” I quipped.

He turned to look at me fully. His hand closed over mine and he gently took the flashlight from my grasp and clicked it off. “What about your ribs?”

“I don’t think you have anything in that kit for them.”

“Let me see them.”

“Wh-what?” My mouth ran dry. He wanted to look under my shirt?

“I want to see them.”

“That’s not really necessary—”

He studied me and then thrust his hand out in the space between us. “Hey, I’m Nathan Reed. It’s nice to meet you.”

I wanted to laugh. We were a little beyond a formal introduction. But it was fun (hey, you try being kidnapped and beaten and see what you consider fun), so I slid my hand into his. “I’m Honor.”

He held my hand a little longer than he needed to, his thumb brushing over the inside of my wrist. I caught myself right before I started purring like a cat.

That would have been hella embarrassing.

“I’m a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. My favorite color is green, and I like football.”

“What are you doing?” I asked, thoroughly charmed by him.

“Formally introducing myself so you’ll let me under your shirt.”

I laughed. “I usually don’t let men I just met under my shirt.”

“I’m irresistible.”

I smiled. “And so modest.”

Lyrics:

Sanctuary: Jonathan's Song

Broken and buried in an avalanche of pain.
I’m forever stained.
Grief and guilt are crushing me.
Shelter me.
Please, shelter me.

Eyes shine bright with a violet light
But the white wolf calls you tonight.
Heart to heart and skin to skin
Make me believe I’m whole again.

Cut away my scars with blades of steel.
Cure the unseen wounds that never heal.
Bind them up and stay with me.
Let the white wolf run free.

You’re my sanctuary. You’re my safe haven.
You’re the only reason that I’m still breathing.
Don’t leave me alone tonight.
Shelter me. Please, shelter me tonight.

My dreams drag me back to a hostile land
Where hero’s blood soaks the desert sand.
Afraid and alone with no way home.
Shelter me. Please, shelter me.
Please, shelter me.

You’re my sanctuary. You’re my safe haven.
You’re the only reason that I’m still breathing.
Don’t leave me alone tonight.
Shelter me. Please, shelter me tonight.

Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin #2)

Dark Triumph (His Fair Assassin, #2)
Goodreads:
Sybella arrives at the convent’s doorstep half mad with grief and despair. Those that serve Death are only too happy to offer her refuge—but at a price. The convent views Sybella, naturally skilled in the arts of both death and seduction, as one of their most dangerous weapons. But those assassin's skills are little comfort when the convent returns her to a life that nearly drove her mad. And while Sybella is a weapon of justice wrought by the god of Death himself, He must give her a reason to live. When she discovers an unexpected ally imprisoned in the dungeons, will a daughter of Death find something other than vengeance to live for?
My Stars:
5 stars!
My Review:
hazardous_page.gif - (6K)
I loved Sybella. Her story is not one you'd forget and I am currently trying to remember Ismae's story..I'll have to reread the first book. I hate the convent. Really? They are a bunch of asshole psycho's who need to jump off a cliff. Excuse my French but hey. Sybella's story had me wanting to cry. She's been through a lot of shi...crap.
She's also very badass. Very very bad ass.  I loved when she and Beat were flirting. If that's what you would call it? Oh! I also loved how Mortain came and visited her. That was so sweet I nearly cried. No, I'm very serious. I really did nearly cry. It was so sweet. I was just like aawwww. That was most definitely a Kodak moment. Though it didn't exist back then.

My Stars:
4 and a half stars

My Review:
I absolutely loved this book! I love all books Cambria makes really but still. I loved Holt, the sexy fireman. Though his name reminded me of Holt from The Rangers Apprentice and I couldn't stop thinking about that. *Laughing* Katie...oh Katie. I didn't exactly like what she'd been through. It hurt me to know she'd been so alone for so long. But I didn't like her that much.
I'm sorry. Let me rephrase that, there was one thing I didn't like about her. She had too much pride. And if there isn't one thing that irritates me more it is a prideful person. I mean yes, you are supposed to have pride. It's your self confidence. She just had a little to much. She didn't want anyone helping her despite the fact she was homeless and that got on my nerves.
And she seemed a little fake because I know if an arsonist had been coming after me I would have been peeing my pants, not worrying about love and crap like that. And really, she wanted to protect Holt and stuff so why is it every time the arsonist came she cried out his name?
Cambria's first time doing a  Contemporary Romance  (Actually I think of it as second because Charmed [Death Escorts #2] had sexual stuff in it but it was paranormal, buuut still) it was really great! I mean you would think people would know how to write about sex and love but some people mess up. Despite the fact they taught about the subject in both middle school and high school. You would be surprised.  She on the other hand rocked it. And I am thankful to have gotten an ARC copy.

Charley Davidson series (1 and 2)

First Grave on the Right  (Book 1)
Second Grave on the Left (Book 2)

First Grave on the Right (Charley Davidson, #1)

Second Grave on the Left (Charley Davidson, #2)

Goodreads:

1st book:
A smashing, award-winning debut novel that introduces Charley Davidson: part-time private investigator and full-time Grim Reaper
Charley sees dead people. That’s right, she sees dead people. And it’s her job to convince them to “go into the light.” But when these very dead people have died under less than ideal circumstances (i.e. murder), sometimes they want Charley to bring the bad guys to justice. Complicating matters are the intensely hot dreams she’s been having about an Entity who has been following her all her life...and it turns out he might not be dead after all. In fact, he might be something else entirely.

2nd book:
When Charley is rudely awakened in the middle of the night by her best friend who tells her to get dressed quickly and tosses clothes out of the closet at her, she can’t help but wonder what Cookie’s up to. Leather scrunch boots with a floral miniskirt? Together? Seriously? Cookie explains that a friend of hers named Mimi disappeared five days earlier and that she just got a text from her setting up a meet at a coffee shop downtown. They show up at the coffee shop, but no Mimi. But Charley finds a message on the bathroom wall. Mimi left a clue, a woman’s name. Mimi’s husband explains that his wife had been acting strange since she found out an old friend of hers from high school had been found murdered a couple weeks prior. The same woman Mimi had named in her message.

Meanwhile, Reyes Alexander Farrow (otherwise known as the Son of Satan. Yes. Literally) has left his corporeal body and is haunting Charley. He’s left his body because he’s being tortured by demons who want to lure Charley closer. But Reyes can’t let that happen. Because if the demons get to Charley, they’ll have a portal to heaven. And if they have a portal to heaven…well, let’s just say it wouldn’t be pretty. Can Charley handle hot nights with Reyes and even hotter days tracking down a missing woman? Will Cookie ever get a true fashion sense? And is there enough coffee and chocolate in the world to fuel them as they do?

My Stars:

1st book:
4 stars

2nd book:
5 stars

My Review:

Both:

I loved both books equally. Except I liked the second more than the first. Maybe because Reyes is mentioned ever five second in the second book and I happen to love him. I love him so much. The first book I read was actually the third book in the series. That is why I'm so freaking obsessed with him and no I do not believe he is the anti-Christ no matter what the book says because they probably don't even know what the anti-Christ really is.

So now more about Reyes. I freaking love him. He's so heroic and sexy. I picture him in real life as that guy in the Disney movie Prom? Jessy or is it Jessey....Jessie? Okay. Apparently my correction thinks it's the last one okay. But that's his ideal image with me only sexier. Oh god. I love him.
I absolutely love Cookie and Amber and I don't really like Charley's step mother...or rather her entire family. I don't like. I had bad feelings about all of them at the beginning. I mean if my wife (husband) had treated my daughter like she was crazy I would have divorced her!! Gah!

**May be some spoilers...you'll just have to find out!**
OMG! I absolutely loved this book. Except for the ending. I never like how the ending of books turn out. (That mostly only applies for series. They never end happily till the last book in them.) I loved how Katie freaked out when Toby appeared in her life. I was laughing so hard I choked on my spit which wasn't very pleasant.
I loved the relationship Rhyn and Katie had. It was funny for me. Especially how he kind of kidnapped her. Or well not exactly kidnaps but held hostage. !!!! OH!
The scenes in hell were brilliant. I thought it was funny that they dropped the key into....opps! Can't tell you.I don't wish to spoil anything for you so I'll just stop talking. Or writing, I guess.

Octavian's Undoing (Sons of Judgement #1)

Octavian's Undoing (Sons of Judgment, #1)
Goodreads:
No good deed goes unpunished.

Riley Masters learns this the hard way when she finds a wallet and decides to do the right thing. But returning it will cost her much more than she bargains for.

Abandoned by her mother, raised by an indifferent father, Riley has accepted the fact that she would be alone always. She has no idea that a single act of kindness would propel her into a world where creatures that shouldn’t exist guard the human race from the demons that lurk in the shadows. That it will cost her the lives of those she loves while unearthing a destiny she never imagined with a man who is forbidden to love her. She finds passion, romance and the family she’d been searching for her entire life, but at what cost and what is she willing to sacrifice to find answers and happiness?

Octavian Maxwell has always known his place. He is a Caster, a Son of Judgment. His job is to protect the mortal world from the creatures plotting to destroy it. Instead, his world is shattered when a human girl walks into Final Judgment, a girl he has been searching for his entire life, a girl he is forbidden to ever touch. Being with her will break the oath he’s sworn to never love a mortal. But his heart has already found its mate and it refuses to let go.

Final Judgment… a place undetected, a gateway to evil and a legend that will undo everything anyone has ever known about our world.
My Stars:
4 Stars!
My Review:
This book irritated me if only a little. I loved Riley and how she supported her dad. I didn't like the fact that the dad was such a weak characters he would do the ultimate betrayal (to me it was the ultimate betrayal). I didn't like the fact that in this book 2 people actually fell in love with humans. Really? There was entirely too many things going on at once for me. And the author made Angels seem like complete merciless idiots! I was sooo frustrated at the Angels it made no sense what so ever.

I loved this book because of Octavian. Oh! And his father. I absolutely loved his father. *Dreamy sigh* I loved Octavian's brothers. They were the funny element of the book. I loved how Airicka described Octavian in his supernatural form. And I was pleased when Riley didn't run away screaming like a stupid little girl when she saw Octavian in his supernatural form.

I am totally going to read the second book. I loved this book mostly because I love all books that make me emotionally frustrated. It'd hard for authors to actually envoke such emotions in their readers now a days and she did just that!

Darkyn's Mate (Rhyn Eternal #3)

Darkyn's Mate (Rhyn Eternal, #3)
Goodreads:
Caught between Fate and the Dark One ...

Stuck in Hell, human-Deidre struggles to hold onto her hope that she can change the course of events that landed her as the mate of Darkyn, the Dark One. The chances of her leaving Hell plummet when the Dark One takes a drastic step to ensure he never loses his latest possession and blood binds her in an ancient rite from the time-before-time. In doing so, he is forced to share his power with her. Rather than despair, she begins to see that she has unexpectedly found her place in the world: protecting innocent souls from the bloodlust of the demon she's forever bound to.

Rather than accept her place at his side docilely, she begins to use her newfound influence to help those she cares about, including Gabriel, the former lover she's not yet ready to let go of, even knowing she'll never leave Hell.
My Stars:
5 stars
My Review:
I loved this book. I loved Darkyn. I just loved everything about this book. Everything. It kinda took Deidre a while to get used to the fact that she was now with the Dark One which kinda confused me because to me he's the only real character in the entire series. He doesn't beat around the bushes like everyone else.
OH! And I don't think I like Fate that much. He needs a mate so that he can know how it feels. Unless that's a series I have yet to read because she has some series that I have still yet to read. That I will get to when I get some money on my card but until then....
Sigh. Time to wait my ass off.
But any way back to the book.. And Darkyn.
Darkyn seems like the real man in this book. When the girls go missing Gabriel's to busy throwing insults while Darkyn is just shut the fuck up dude, lets go find our mates. I mean really? Is there any competition here between him and Gabriel?  If I had to pick I would pick Darkyn. I'm kinda on team Darkyn.
Welllllp...that's my awesome review!

Deidre's Death (Rhyn Eternal #2)

Deidre's Death (Rhyn Eternal, #2)

Goodreads:
Two women caught in a struggle between Death and the Dark One...

Gabriel – Death – is winning the ground war against demons in the mortal realm. But a rebellion is brewing among his army of grim reapers in the underworld he still can’t access. Worse, just when he thinks he knows where his heart belongs, he discovers there are two Deidres: the human he started to fall in love with and the deity whose love-hate relationship with him spanned hundreds of thousands of years. What he doesn’t know: the two Deidres made a deal that will send one of their souls to the underworld by the end of the week.

Deity-Deidre expects nothing but smooth sailing in her future. Until the Dark One strips her powers on her way out of Hell, leaving her a vulnerable human, reeling under the influence of human emotions, which deities do not possess. The deal she made with human-Deidre suddenly seems impossible to win. For the first time in her existence, she understands what Gabriel felt at her mercy for the eons they were together. She doesn’t know how to win the trust of the man she’s always loved – or even if she can.
My Stars:
4 Stars..
My Review:
hazardous_page.gif - (6K)
**May Contain Spoilers**
Lets start off with the fact that I don't like Past-Death...period that is why I gave the book a 4. I mean the way she does things leave a lot of people hurt. She stole Gabriel, who I didn't like anyway, in the process hurting the other Deidre.  I mean really. Gah! This girl has so many problems. And now that she is back in the world she wants to start all brand new. Wipe away all that she's done and act all innocent.
Hell no!
What I wanted to happen was for her to be treated some kinds of bad, because really? That is definitely not fair that people treated the New Deidre all mean but the treated the Past- Deidre like she was the innocent new one. It was totally wrong and I hated it. Ohhhh! I hated it so much. But other than that...I liked the book. Kind of. I just want someone to show Past-Deidre all that she did over so that she could cry and feel extra broken.
Like torn apart wanting to kill herself.
BUT sigh...forgiveness is a virtue.
And so...
I guess....
I forgive Past - Deidre .
(But only after what I want to happen happens. :D)

Grabriel's Hope (Rhyn Eternal #1)

**Do you want some instant coffee? If so I virtually give you a cup. It would be rude for me not to offer while I sit here and drink and you have none.**

Gabriel's Hope (Rhyn Eternal, #1)

Goodreads:
The continuation of the Rhyn Trilogy saga.

Death Finds Love.

Recently appointed as Death, Gabriel’s life can’t get much worse. His underworld is in shambles, and he’s racing demons to collect souls in the human world. To add to his mess, he discovers that his predecessor raised an unwelcome Immortal from the dead, one who threatens the Immortal Council that his friend, the Ancient Rhyn, is trying to hold together. When the underworld shuts Gabriel out, he’s convinced he’s hit rock bottom. Until he meets her, and he realizes things can get worse. Much worse.

Now in human form, Deidre – Gabriel’s predecessor and long-time tormenter – is dying from a brain tumor. Rather than mourn, she decides to enjoy the rest of her short life by checking off every box on her bucket list. Little does she suspect that a weekend getaway to the beach will throw her into the hands of Death himself and overturn everything she knows about her world. Deidre has no idea who she was in her past life, but she must learn fast, or she’ll never understand why the Immortals, demons and Death alike are after her. The secret is buried in her head, and the only way to uncover it will kill her.

To survive, she must reach the wounded man behind the mask of Death and show him that the world is filled with more than tragedy and pain.

**Subtle Spoilers**
Okay! I absolutely loved this book. Loved it! Loved it! I however do not like Gabriel. I understand what Past-Death did to him...but that is absolutely no excuse for how he was acting towards the new Deidre. It was mean and rude. I actually like the Dark One. I am all for the Dark One. Really he's the only one in the book who gave a shit about the girl. If I had to choose between Gabriel and the Dark One to have as a mate I would choose the Dark One. I don't like how at one time Deidre is so ready to die but then they break her down so much that she isn't ready.
If a person is ready to die...let them freaking die! Gosh damn-it! They couldn't have let her freaking RIP. I mean jeeesh! And now she's stuck with someone she doesn't want to be stuck with....even though the person she is stuck with is more awesome than all of the characters. Because he/she doesn't lie to her like everyone else did. But anyway I was very satisfied with this book. I recommend for you to read it...but uhhh start from the beginning wherever that is because this series comes off from another one of Lizzy Ford's series that I have yet to read. So I was a bit confused in the books.

Charade (Heven and Hell #2)

**I am writing this while enjoying a caramel cappuccino...want one? <Virtually hands you one> There ya go!**

Goodreads:
Dying at the hands of a psycho was a shock. Having my life returned to me by an angel was incredible. Being named a Supernatural Treasure and being given Sam as my guard was pretty darn awesome. Acquiring a debt for it all - well, I should have seen it coming. Now here we are, fighting demons from hell, caring for a boy that I just don't trust and traveling to faraway places to return a treasure to its rightful place. Nothing is as it seems. Everyone wears a mask, everyone puts on a charade. It's up to us to separate the truth from the lies and reality from fiction. A hard task when my new reality involves fallen angels, witches and dragons...and did I mention hell? Anchoring me down through it all is Sam. Sam who must face tragedies of his own and is put to the test again and again. If we fail in our task, life as we know it - life as you know it - will end. Forever.

My Stars:

4.....Just kidding. Hahaha it's a 5!

My Review:

Okay! This book was plain ole awesome. It took me some while to read it because I kept getting distracted by Cambria's other books but I finally finished. I no longer like Kimberly. I love Cole even more than I did before. I still don't know if I like Logan...I mean I know what he's been through but still. Sam. Sam. Sam. I am just...Sam. I can't even say anything for me the end of the book was such a cliff hanger. I mean really. Woo-ooow! That's why I joked and put 4 stars first then 5. The cliff hanger made me kinda sad.

But hey! An authors gotta do what she's gotta do to keep you on your toes right? And she is keeping me on my toes. I'm about to buy the 3rd book now..

Oh gosh, my money is disappearing slowly through my wallet. All on books, oh gosh. I need more gift cards and free books to review. Ahhhh!

Charmed (Death Escorts # 2)

**I told you guys that I had gotten an ARC from an author! Well! Here is my awesome review because I finished the book today! And...well my review will tell you what I think about it!**
Goodreads:
Life or Death? Not many people would choose death. But what if death chooses you? What if death doesn’t mean the end of your life, but the beginning?
For a Death Escort, death is life. Death is your paycheck. Death is your job.
And Charming is the best Escort the Grim Reaper has ever had.
But when you piss off the Reaper, being the best doesn’t matter. So Charming is assigned a Target who is practically impossible to kill. He knows the Reaper hopes he fails—that he’s counting on it. So Charming vows to prove him wrong. He vows to make the kill.
But someone else vows to get in his way. Someone with a big mouth, a sugar habit, and blond hair. Someone who makes his heart start beating again.
And so Charming is left holding more than one person’s fate in the palm of his hand. He thought the choice would be easy, that there really wasn’t a question at all.
He was wrong.
Life or Death?

My Stars:
5 stars! This book was freakin awesome!
My Review:
This book was entirely too awesome! I loved it. I stayed up (all of her books make me stay up..always) till 2am in the morning to try and finish it. It was so good. I knew Charming wasn't just all charm, but i'm not gonna spoil it all for you. And Piper! Damn! I didn't love her as much in the first but now in the second I love her character. Storm is so freakinnn cool, gah! This author knows how to write a book she's making me use exclamation marks because I am just so...AHHH!  Ontop of being awesome it was hot and sexy! I advise you not to read the book unless you are mature, unless your mom and dad are alright with that. Let me tell you those certain scenes were delicious. This was the first I've ever seen her describe a intimate scene in her book and she did it perfectly. Not to much but just enough for you to have to fan yourself. Gahh! Well all I have to say is that Cambria is an effin writing Goddess and she needs to keep on rocking the world with her books.

Recalled (Death Escorts 1)

Goodreads: Love or Death? A simple question really. The choice seems obvious. But. What if you never knew love, what if your life was spent just trying to survive? What if you knew your fate before you were fully grown?

And then you died.

And you were given another chance. A better chance.

This new life depended upon one thing: your job. And so you agreed. You thought it would be simple. You thought it would be cut and dry.

It never is.

And now you are left holding the fate of someone else in the palm of your hand and you have to make the ultimate choice.

Love or Death
?

Stars: 4...it would be a 5 but awww what the heck 4 1/2!

My Review: This book was utterly awesome! I love it and can not wait until the next comes out. I will definitely be reading it, if I can afford to get it. Hopefully I will get an ARC :D. I am praying. I loved Dex! He was hot...he's actually kinda the reason I gave the book a 4 and (I don't want to spoil) but if you read the book you'll know why. Ugh! This book took me on so many twist and turns. Piper seemed a bit gullible to me... just a bit. So I didn't like her as much as I liked Dex. I actually kinda liked Charming too. He had some problems but he'd been growing on me. Until the ending of the book. Gah! The book just had me turning pages all night it was really unbelievable. I did not go to sleep until the 2 in the morning and then I got up early just to finish.
I literally dreamt about this book.
I almost threw my nook at the wall at the ending **even though the ending was awesome** I was kinda sad.
Okay so there is my awesome review. Read it now! Go!

The Darkest Surrender (Lords of the Underworld)

Goodreads: Possessed by the demon of Defeat, Strider cannot lose a challenge without suffering unimaginable pain. For him, nothing stands in the way of victory. Until Kaia, an enchanting Harpy, tempts him to the razor's edge of surrender.Known among her people as The Disappointment, Kaia must bring home the gold in the Harpy Games or die. Strider is a distraction she can't afford because he has an agenda of his own-steal first prize, an ancient godly artifact, before the winner can be named. But as the competition heats up, only one prize will matter-the love neither had thought possible...
Stars: Okay! So 5 out of 5 stars! It was just that awesome!
My Review: Okay so. I absolutely love Strider! He is my man! A new addition to my 100 plus husbands. (They are all fantasy husbands, but hey!) Kaia...I'm worried she'll kick my ass if she sees this but hey...I don't carre. This book was absolutely positively hot! HOT! Lysander is also mine...nah never mind, I like Zachrel more. But Strider was still sexier then both of them.
This book has so many twist and turns....gah! Sometimes I wished I could just jump inside the book and kiss someone or beat them up. It kept me on my toes the entire time I read it. I literally wanted to scream at some parts. It's always this way with the Lords of the Underworld books. I just wow...

**I dunno what you guys did but my viewings spiked up a lot, please tell your friends about my small little blog here. I like looking at my viewings and seeing 1070 people have looked at your blog this week and such. You can become a member too...please (I'm begging you too)**
