Daughter of Smoke & Bones

I was confused a bit at the beginning of the book, but then everything started making sense. And all I have to say is wow. I can't even explain the book to you much without telling you the whole story which I try so hard not to do to you guys. Sigh...

It was a very good book, if someone asked me to rate it 1-10 it'd be at least 7 or 8 most likely an 8. I absolutely enjoyed the book very much. And I couldn't put it down...not even when I went to church (Bleh) i wish I knew how to download video's so I could show you guys this cool trailer for it but oh well.

OH that is soo cool! I figured it out (So proud of myself ^)

Half Blood (Covenant 1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Okay. I absolutely adored this book. I couldn't stop thinking about it after I saw the reviews it had on Goodreads saying it was such a good book and blah blah. I had to see for myself and boy was I in for a treat.
I finished this book rather fastly and wow..I can remember all of it as clear as day. Now I won't spoil the book for you. I'll only give you a rundown on what is is about because I encourage you to read this book. (I cannot stop thinking about it. Oh gosh)
Alexandria's caught after three years of being outside of the covenant. She's lost a bunch of training an can't catch up so she only has the choice of being a servant (Slave). Aiden (He is one smexi dude. For a fictional character) offers to train her being a full on sentinel an they allow him to. Alex's falls in love even though love is forbidden between full's and half's...
I can't even explain it right, its much more exciting and adventures please read it an comment telling me what you think ! Her next book Pure (Covenant 2) is coming out September 2012 I heard.

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi-pure-bloods-have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals-well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures. Seventeen-year-old Alexandria would rather risk her life fighting than waste it scrubbing toilets, but she may end up slumming it anyway. There are several rules that students at the Covenant must follow. Alex has problems with them all, but especially rule #1:Relationships between pures and halfs are forbidden. Unfortunately, she's crushing hard on the totally hot pure-blood Aiden. But falling for Aiden isn't her biggest problem--staying alive long enough to graduate the Covenant and become a Sentinel is. If she fails in her duty, she faces a future worse than death or slavery: being turned into a daimon, and being hunted by Aiden. And that would kind of suck

Red Riding Hood by Sarah Blakley Cartwright

Oh My Gosh...I absolutely adored this book. And the movie also because they were a lot alike. The characters all had drama going on. The villagers were all scared of the woof.  Valerie being able to understand the wolf an sigh. I can't really explain this one.
Okay so Valerie's old friend comes back (He's all fine and smexi *heh* his name is Peter) and she wants to know where he's been. He's acting all arrogant  an acting all uninterested (We know he's interested~!), while some other guy is acting all interested but she pays him no mind. (*Coughs* poor guy, his name is Billy) They are suspicious Peter or Valerie either one is the wolf...But oh my gosh you would've never guessed who the wolf really was ! Heh I'm not telling you till you read the book and see the movie, so no spoiler...even though I already spoiled a bit..

Valerie's sister was beautiful, kind, and sweet. Now she is dead. Henry, the handsome son of the blacksmith, tries to console Valerie, but her wild heart beats fast for another: the outcast woodcutter, Peter, who offers Valerie another life far from home.

After her sister's violent death, Valerie's world begins to spiral out of control. For generations, the Wolf has been kept at bay with a monthly sacrifice. But now no one is safe. When an expert Wolf hunter arrives, the villagers learn that the creature lives among them--it could be anyone in town.

It soon becomes clear that Valerie is the only one who can hear the voice of the creature. The Wolf says she must surrender herself before the blood moon wanes...or everyone she loves will die.

Based on a screenplay written by David Leslie Johnson
