House Of Night Series

Oh gosh..I really recommend this series. Like REALLY recommend it. This is a series of expense kinda. You never know what's gonna happen. And don't listen to those haters who'd tell you its a bad series because it is an awesome series.
I wish her next book would just come out but here's my review..^ (well...that was kinda a review but here's my brief)
I loved all the characters..well except Neferet and Kalona (Or however you spell his name). I also loved how Zoey (The main character) play an important role in the book, she is chosen by the Goddess. I also love how the author not only made her the main character but the other characters too. Its gets a bit boring when there's only one main character don't you think? But I really encourage you to read this and don't get upset when Zoey makes mistakes because the author kinda brings fiction into the real life and we all make mistakes right?

Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

Best series ever! To me that is after Twilight (I am obsessed with this 4 book series. *Sigh*) It's a very nice read. Its one of those series you can pick up and just keep reading because that's just how good it is. It's also one of those series you wish wouldn't end...would just keep going forever (Sighs I wish we had series like this on earth).
I loved half all the characters, except the evil ones because um duuh they are evil. I do NOT (SPOILER) like how she made the two main character brother and sister. But if you read the series you'll see how that turns out because uh someone lied to them. (*Cough Cough* not really brother and sister only by the blood of the Angel)
I've only read first three books. There are 5 books in this series and the fifth one coming out May 8th 2012. I can't wait to buy the (or go to the library and get it) the 4 book!
I really encourage you guys to read this series you will fall in love.

Daughters of the Moon by Lynne Ewing

Okay. I know that these books are kinda old, but they are really fantastic! All of the characters have this funky twist to them (Not all the same twist but different for each individual). Even though the last book kinda mad me cry a little (I am a book emotionalist) because it didn't end the way I would've wanted it to end but hey...at least she wasn't one of those authors who stuck to a Very happy ending even though I would've preferred that.
The book is about these 6 girls who are human (Mundane, Muggle, Mortal..whatever you prefer) goddess, who all have different powers(They live in Los Angeles) , and fight an ancient evil called the Aurox. (Excuse me if I get something wrong I haven't read this books in forever). The girls all wear moon amulets and at age 17 or 18 they have to make a choice on whether they want to become something more or live their life's as regular mortals (Forgetting all about the times they were goddesses). It is a really good series you could go to a library and find it most likely or buy it at Barnes&Noble or Amazon.

The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter

I really recommend this book. It was very well written and it had a sense of realness to it. I loved all of the characters..they all had different personalities. (I don't like books where everyone's the same doesn't that irritate you?)
I don't exactly like to be a spoiler...but I also like how she based the test on the Seven Sins and that Katherine didn't figure this out until half the end of the book when half the test were taken.
I also loved the way she potrayed Henry (Hades God of the Underworld). Because every time some author mentions Hades in a book or mythology he is always the bad guy and that kinda irked me to death.
What I didn't like at the end of the book is that it was kinda a cliff hanger for me. I mean at the end (Spoiler Alert!) Katherine gets married to Henry finding out her mother is really a goddess an last to grade her on her different task of test an then she just leaves the manor or Mansion if you prefer. (*Coughs* I thought of it as a Mansion to but..I guess they keep calling it Manor same difference, yes?) But my point is...they didn't even have a huney moon!! I mean isn't that traditional?? All they did on their last day together before she went off for six months was play checkers (Or was it cards?)...seriously?!? Where is the romance in THAT?
But otherwise I give this book 4.9 stars! It was a very great book an I can't wait till she writes the next one.

It's always been just Kate and her mom--and her mother is dying. Her last wish? To move back to her childhood home. So Kate's going to start at a new school with no friends, no other family and the fear that her mother won't live past the fall.

Then she meets Henry. Dark. Tortured. And mesmerizing. He claims to be Hades, god of the Underworld--and if she accepts his bargain, he'll keep her mother alive while Kate tries to pass seven tests.

Kate is sure he's crazy--until she sees him bring a girl back from the dead. Now saving her mother seems crazily possible. If she suceeds, she'll become Henry's future bride and a goddess.

IF SHE FAILS..
